Double Dip Accor Stays And Earn Frequent Flyer Miles

Double Dip Accor Stays And Earn Frequent Flyer Miles

Double dipping is an integral part to excelling at award travel. By linking your hotel and airline loyalty programs, you can earn both hotel points and frequent flyer miles for the same stay. Accor Live Limitless makes this incredibly easy. Here’s how to maximize your rewards with Accor’s airline partners and earn miles you might otherwise leave behind

How To Double Dip Accor Stays

Accor Live Limitless is the loyalty program for Accor Hotels, which includes brands like Sofitel, Fairmont, ibis, and Pullman. By default, you earn one Reward point per euro or dollar spent, depending on your location. But what many travelers do not realize is that Accor also partners with several major airline programs that allow you to earn both types of rewards at once.

The great thing about this is that for select partners there is even reciprocal point earning. This means that you can earn 1 mile per dollar spent on an Accor stay and 1 point per 2 dollars spent on flights with that airline. This is huge and a super easy may to maximize your point earning potential.

To get started, log in to your Accor account and connect your preferred frequent flyer program by entering your membership number. Once linked, the airline partner will appear in your Accor profile under partner programs.

Here are some things to keep in mind

  • You can only have one airline partner connected at any time
  • Once linked, you may be required to stay with that partner for twelve months before switching to a different one
  • Points and miles may take several weeks to post after a qualifying stay or flight

Airline Programs That Work With Accor

As of 2025, Accor allows you to double dip rewards with three airline programs.

  • Air France/KLM Flying Blue
  • Qantas Frequent Flyer
  • Qatar Privilege Club

I personally went with Qatar Privilege Club because I value Avios for their great value like booking Qatar Airways first class and also since they’re able to be transferred among all Avios programs 1:1.

Avios are super flexible and can be transferred 1:1

My second choice would have been Flying Blue since you can book Air France and KLM business class for as low as 60,000 miles one way. Qantas Frequent Flyer is not a competitive program in my opinion and will be even less valuable when their devaluation occurs this August. Qantas also restricts the point earning to hotel stays in Asia Pacific.

Conclusion

Double dipping your Accor hotel stays with frequent flyer miles is one of the easiest ways to earn more from the travel you are already doing. For most travelers, Qatar Privilege Club is the best partner due to the flexibility of Avios. I’d highly recommend taking five minutes to link your Accor and airline accounts today so you don’t miss out on any rewards!
